The words spoken to us have power, and some people’s words definitely carry more weight. For me that person was my mom. I can still hear her words today: “Get out of the fridge, dinner will be ready in an hour!”

As we celebrate Mother’s Day this month, I’m reflecting on all of the fond memories I have of her. I was a mama’s boy, and when she passed, my faith was shaken. It was about six years after her death when God revealed something to me. He said, “I love her more than you ever could.” It’s something that I have never forgotten—the words of God, telling me he loves her. This means he loves you, me, and all of our guests that way.

Thank you for giving to the mission. We are so blessed by it. The guests are often at the door expressing their gratitude for what has been provided. They ask us to thank those who give, so: THANK YOU!
