When was the last time a sunrise caught your attention? For me, the beauty of a desert sunrise is often more beautiful than some of the finest art hanging in galleries around the world. One sunrise in particular was especially meaningful for me: I was standing at the opportunity to live differently than I had been. My choices in this time of my life had been self-serving and very damaging to those around me. I was 24 years old and needed help to find my way; it was at this point in my life that the word sunrise took on a whole new meaning.

Son-rise, the gift of Jesus in the life of the believer, is one of expansive beauty. The hope and love I have today overwhelms me. This same hope is what we carry in abundance to the homeless community here in the Victor Valley. The mission is a privately funded organization; we rely on partnerships within the community.
